OPT: Protection of Civilians Weekly Report | 29 August - 4 September 2012 - Significant decrease in Palestinians injured by Israeli forces this week. Thirty-two Palestinian civilians, including 14 children, displaced due to the Israeli authorities demolition of Area C structures. Two settlement outposts evacuated by Israeli forces following a court ruling. Twelve Palestinians, including a child, were accidentally injured, and a number of residential buildings sustained damage, as a result of misuse of weapons in the Gaza Strip. Rafah Crossing re-opens in both directions. Fuel shortages continue, along with regular power cuts.
